Reliving my childhood

Who else watched the new Netflix Original Series "The Fuller House" when it premiered Friday the 26th of February.  I know our house have watched it. So far Ken and Ryleigh have been the only ones to finish it so far. Why? well the night it premiered we were watching it and Ken fell asleep in the chair. I myself went and laid down because I have been sick now for two weeks! But leave it to our girl to have BINGED Watched it until 2 am. The only reason was because her daddy fell asleep in the living room is the only reason she stayed up and watched it.  Ken finished the series this morning. I am trying to finish the last two episodes but my internet is being extremely slow due to it being extremely windy outside!

However, so far I love it. I love reliving my childhood with my children. Brayden watches Full House every night before bed. So far he has watched bits and pieces. Only because the new one doesn't have Michele in it!

Someone Turned 7

Hey there you guys!!! Sorry it's been a few days. Not sure if I updated and let you guys know that this house has been hit with all kinds of sickness. I mean literally we have all had something different! Three weeks ago Brayden had strep, was out of school for a few days.  During that time, I got sick with a head cold. Nothing serious right? Yeah, well my non-liking doctor visits waited until I almost had pneumonia! However, I must say that it did start as a head cold but didn't move to my chest until this past weekend! Which by the title you could see could possibly have been someone's birthday. That's right it was my little boys birthday! :( Yes, I am sad! I am now the mother of a 10 year old little girl and a seven year old little boy! 

I haven't uploaded the pictures from the camera yet but here is a picture of him with some of his goodies from his Valentines party! 

On Brayden birthday in which this is the reason we didn't do his party the weekend of his birthday is because that night was Ryleigh's Daddy daughter dance!  Below is a picture of my beautiful young lady and my handsome man! :)  However, we have decided we are going to wait and do his party at the end of march maybe the first week of April. Mainly because his is born in the middle of February and ya never know exactly if its going to come a snow storm. Which happened last year we had his party planned out for the weekend of his birthday and bam two days before came a snow storm. Rescheduled for the weekend after. AGAIN got hit by more snow. So the next time I rescheduled his party we done it in the middle of March which by the way there was another snow storm but by time of his party the temps rose and most of the snow was melted at least off the roads. 

So it was pretty much a eventful weekend.

Million And One Things To Do

Well considering I only have 13 % battery left, thought I would elaborate on what I mean by my title.
Have you ever made it to "hump" day especially after being sick and think to yourself you have a million and one things to do and no time to do it in. Yep, that's me today. I am still sick and congested with now ringing and stuffiness of the ears. I refuse to go to the doctor because I have antibiotics left from the last time I went 6 months ago. Anyways, that is a whole other subject. But face it not everyone takes all there antibiotics. Right? I know I am not the only one who quits or forgets taking them after I feel better. :) Anyways yes today I have MILLION and ONE things to do and no time to do it in.  However, I am going to make me a visual list of what I would like to accomplish today and I will get back to you tomorrow on if I got any of it accomplished.

1. my kitchen (then supper, we are having tuna sandwiches)
2. Keep laundry going but need to actually separate the laundry in the hall way into piles
3. Make My Bed
4. I'd like to get some leway on the kids bedroom it's horrible as in a hurricane and tornado went through it.
5. Have most if not all done except the laundry because that will take forever, but have done all by 6 or 630 and then relax.

The Month Of Love

The month of love has been a rough month for us as well as a January. In the beginning of December she twisted her ankle during GYM. Well as a mother of a child who complains often about being in pain. I took it up that she just sprained it. During Christmas we went and seen the in laws over in Chicago Area, my mother bought her what I like to call hooker boots. She was walking in my in laws house and turned the corner and there she went. She folded her ankle. That Monday when we got home she had actually as well as folding her ankle developed a cold over there. So Monday was such a busy day of unpacking and getting things finished. Well, my mother took her to the doctor for me and they ran X Ray's on her foot.  There was a crack in her ankle. Well 2 weeks with a boot on we went and seen the foot doctor. He said that she did crack her foot but what she cracked was an extra bone. That as she has gotten bigger she was born with an extra bone on the side of her foot that as she grew didn't fuse into her foot. Instead it's like a floating piece of bone.  So between the doctor appointments for her. Brayden has been in and out of the doctors for trial and error on medicine because he has been diagnosed with ADHD and PDD. We are now waiting for the autistic center in our area to call and have him fully evaluated. During all these evaluations, I wanted to document things. Because I want to be able to look back on everything we have went through. Watch videos and watch and see my children as well as myself and Ken grow individually as well as a family.

About Time...

About time for what, you may ask? It's about time for a NEW COMPUTER and this mommy got one! Yay! I can finally get back to blogging and vlogging. I have waited on this for months now and there is so much going on in life lately that it's hard to keep up with it all.  As of right now, this momma has got to get her a nap. I haven't slept well in two days and I am barely holding my eyes open as we speak and I have so much stuff to get done after getting the kids. So I am going to try and catch me a nap before going and getting them!

Life Update

O my goodness. I have not updated in so long and I am so sorry. I promised to get better and really was trying but my computer crashed and I love blogging from it. Because doing it on my phone my thumbs cramp because my phone is so small. (iPhone 5c) It's extremely late and I am fixing to go to bed. Then as I was making a Facebook post I thought to myself why not make a blog about my post. I am going to update you guys on life in general as soon as I get my new computer. But for now I am going to paste my status to Facebook. 

    "The last two nights for sure Henry has been great at going to sleep and staying asleep at night. I think a lot because when I would get up in the middle of the night hed be laying on the couch and before heading back to bed, I always make sure he's snuggled to his blankie. Just to let him know he isn't alone. Tonight I'm finally getting ready to conk out and before I do, I always go to the bathroom. Low and behold Henry is right on my heels.  Wide awake and follows me. Then I go to the bedroom and he starts barking. So I fix his blanket behind the couch and snuggle him .he barks again. I said Henry James it's night night lay down. He lays down. It's amazing in a few short weeks he understands his new family. And honestly besides a few mishaps he really is a great dog."

Nope haven't had a baby yet. I'm sure the first line for ya but we have gotten a puppy. When we get him he was 8 weeks old. He is from what the previous owner has said for sure blueheeler and believed to be a mix with rotwaller.  Before we got him he didn't actually have a name but the lady said her husband has always called him Henry. So we kept the name Henry and his name is Henry James. And as stated from my FB post he really is a great dog. When we got him he was already potty trained to a puppy pad. But when he gets excited he still has accidents. Nothing major that oxi-clean can't fix.  But before going to bed I wanted to update those that do follow my blog and I am going to make it habit to post more I promise.

Why does it matter?

       You know people during the month of November write out what they are thankful for on Facebook. In a way to acknowledge and do something in honor for Thanksgiving. Well then you have negative Nancy's that complain because they should be thankful all year for this stuff not just November. No shit Sherlock, let people do as they feel without receiving backlash for doing it. To be honest I didn't do the thankful post this year mainly because I kept telling myself I was going to do it and before I knew it we are damn near to Thanksgiving.  

Remember my mentions of negative Nancy's a.k.a Debbie Downers. Well for some reason or another I haven't seen a lot of the Thankful post or downgrades from those who do them. But sweet georgia peach, I have never in my life seen so many people have a damn opinion  toward others for putting up their Christmas Tree, bringing out elf on the shelf, or any Christmas Decor before Thanksgiving.  

I put my tree up 4 days early this year and made a post about it. Then seen a status from a friend not even 10 minutes after mine saying, "Does anyone believing in waiting until after thanksgiving  to celebrate Christmas? Eat the Turkey before putting your tree up. Damn!! Well I added the cute picture below....

With the following status...

1. I am aware that Thanksgiving is 4 days away. 

2. I enjoy making my children happy, they have asked for a week, when can we put up the tree & when will our elves come to visit. 

3. Although my tree is up and elves are out doesn't mean I forgot what holiday is next. 

4. What gets me is a lot of people who get so worked up over people putting Christmas out before Thanksgiving are   usually the same people "Black Friday" pre-sale shopping on Thursday. Guess what it's still Thanksgiving. So you better watch it a day has 24 hours in it. So technically thanksgiving isn't over until midnight. Sorry ya gotta miss them pre sales at 6 pm thanksgiving day. 

5. One last thing, I wish people would understand the elf on the shelf isn't a disciplinary tool. Granted a lot of people including me as seen how great my children act when their elves return, but it holds a whole lot more. Like at 6:30 am when my children wake up running through the house hoping to find their elves. It's the smile on their face.  The happiness to see what the elves are up to while they are sleeping.
