Nauseating Feeling

The past few months I have experienced a lot of pain in my right breast. The doctor who checked me felt that they were nothing more than caffeine knots. Just in case she sat me up with a mammogram and ultrasound.
Well I went in for the mammogram and she came out and said the doctor wanted to go ahead to do the ultrasound. Which my doctor informed me they wouldn't do anything unless they felt as if something needed more diagnosing.  I waited 26 minutes before they got me back to do the ultrasound. In that 26 minutes I feared my life for the first time since 8 years. (I almost lost mine and my daughters life during delivery nearing 8 years ago.) I wander what if they told me I had breast cancer and that it was progressing fast. All these things flashed threw my mind for the sake of my kids. Besides my family and their Ken daddy I'm all they have. I've promised my daughter I wasn't going anywhere. She done lost her dad because he walked out on her and here I am feeling that I'm gonna break a promise I never intend on breaking. 

The ultrasound tech came out to the waiting room and called for me. I seriously felt like running the other way around.  However I didn't. The ultrasound was extremely painful because for some reason my right breast is extremely sore and tender.  I even started crying. The lady that performed the mammogram said I'd hear my results by Wednesday of the following week. Then I get back there to have the ultrasound done and I asked will I find out my results by Wednesday like the mammogram. She said no the radiologist wants to speak to you before you leave.

In the 5 minutes it took for him to come back there to give me the news. This is exactly what went threw my head. I'm gonna have to make a will for my kids to go with my parents. And to start writing letters to my kids to let them know how much they mean to me. *knock* the radiologist comes through the curtain says "Ms. Pigg everything is normal." You are fine.

Talk about crazy! In 2 hours the doctors had my life turned upside down but in reality I needed it. To prove that God is great that he is the one who made me healthy. That the power if prayer is what I needed.

Before I go remember ladies having an annual mammogram can save your life. Because in an instant it can change!

I'm Going to Rant

Facebook Rant

Anyone that has a smart phone I'm sure has a Facebook app. I've never really had problems with my app besides the few times it would freeze because I'm always on there between keeping up with friends, family, and working! Let's face it I'm a stay at home mom Lord himself knows I'm not gonna clean ALL day long! But for the past few days seemed just about everytime I was on it! I get a message that said Facebook stop working force shut down. So thinking I'd fix the problem I was due for an update so I updated it! Ha, jokes on me because now all it does is go to a blank screen and about a minute later says Facebook is not responding. You bet your money I reported it. I understand that a lot of the apps are free but seriously to be able to get the Free apps we pay for service through our providers right!? Why yes yes we do. ( sorry little phineas and ferb moment there) However, even if we report it doesn't always mean they are gonna fix it.

Now on to a mommy rant:

I love both my children with everything in me! But what aggravates me is their "sperm donors" don't. My daughters dad has had nothing to do with her, well let's do the math. Him and I were together for a year and half after she was born he seen her wait for it...FOUR times and once when she was two and half. However in seven years with the help financially from my parents because doing it by myself it was hard. Still is but after seven years he was order to pay child support. But does he why hell no I believe we have gotten 540 dollars in 6 months and that was in two months. Before you think it no that doesn't justify the seven years he hasn't paid. However to anyone else out there going through this why force the issue yes I know he help make her but he's never been there. She knows about him because I have never lied to her but just say I was young and dumb and didn't listen to anyone. But ended up with a beautiful daughter but I was young and now I'm older I have learned things about him and what not that NO my daughter would never in her life be alone with him.

I will finish my rants later the car line is moving!

Finishing rant on baby daddies my sons dad well he sees him basically when its convient or he remembers to call. Which hasn't been in quite some time. His birthday was February 20th, and his dad hasn't seen him since about a week after his birthday. Yes, he has called but hasn't called or answer his phone since Easter.  Him and I before that gotten into it because he wants to put things on Facebook that are way out of content.  Basically I feel and again any woman going thru this don't chase a man to have something to do with his kid. Because in the end your only hurting yourself and your child because of the broken promises why put your child through that!

A lawyer once told someone I knew if a man wanted his child or to see his child he would walk miles if he had to. If he has a car a drives by your house and doesn't stop he doesn't care.  He may say he does but does he really?

BTW my Facebook app started working. I was just ranting lol

I'm going to get off here before this storm and wind blows me away! Probably hard to do but they are some pretty strong winds!

Holy Winds

Anyone else experiencing extremely high winds today! We are here in southeast Missouri. Despite the winds be so rough its quite nice outside, but being a mom work is never done! So in the mean time I will be cleaning up house considering the kids and I haven't been home in two days! So for now everyone stay safe and have any questions just ask!

Relationships

As I'm sitting here waiting on my daughter to get done with dance class, realizing I have 30 minutes before she's done! What better way to occupy myself than to blog!

I titled this relationships because I've always been told I give great relationship advice.  Therefore, thought I'd share some information I feel that a lot of people don't pay a lot of attention to. That is domestic violence..

....the reason I say people don't pay close attention to it is because people tend to look more onto the extreme physical violence. Not realizing that domestic violence can be verbal and non verbal as well.

Verbal: when you are in a relationship weather it's a month or years of your significant other is constantly putting you down that is a form of verbal abuse. Example: Your a Stupid Bitch is the only verbal but constantly calling you stupid even with out bitch at the end of it is verbal abusive. Texting you while you are at school or work saying you better not be talking to any boys/girls (yes girls can be the abuser) not only is verbal abusive but controlling as well. Downgrades are verbal abuse such as your worthless or my favorite you won't fond anyone better than me. Well the old saying goes there is more fish in the sea! How true that is my friends.

Non Verbal: the obvious of course would be slapping,punching, kicking,screaming, and biting! But did you know even if the abuser doesn't hit you but hits a wall in the middle of an argument is consider physical abuse? It is that shows that he or she needs anger management along with the fact that he shows some remorse but shows he/she wants to hit you but had enough control to hit something else. But also have you ever been with someone that y'all had been fighting all day and decide to go out but in the car you can yell their still aggravated because they ate squeezing your hand way to tight and won't stop? That my friends is physical the abuser doesn't have hall of and throw you around like a rag doll but if its happening on the first few months of your relationship I'm sure it will never end and will get worse.
Controls/Threats: These are part of verbal abuse if you are with someone and they control down to the point of how you should wear your hair that's controlling. No I'm not saying asking for someone's opinion because I'll fox my hair or asky boyfriend how should I wear my hair and he always says curly because he likes my curly hair. But someone telling you I better not catch you cutting your hair that's controlling that can lead to threatening which can later leas to physical abuse.

Before closing now, I want clarify that every relationship has arguments but none of them should ever end up as a Monday night Raw Match. Relationships play fight or wrestle that's OK but when it goes to more than just playing get out while you can. The first month or even six months a relationship is grand but usually after most of the time two months you see the real person.

All These Bugs Going Around..

This has been the worse year for my kids and I because of all the different flu bugs going around.  This school year my daughter has been forced to miss a bit of school due to we found out she suffered with juvenile migraines. Them has been some very hard days to face. My son has been sick with strep a few times and he got the flu.

Last night out of no where my daughter woke up and felt as if she had to use the bathroom instead she started throwing up everywhere and having really sharp pains in her left side.

The picture I'm posting is of her last night that laid like this for two hours just to get comfortable.  Considering we didn't get back to bed until almost 3 this morning I decided to let her stay home from school. Also their school has a rule that the child has to be throw up free for 24 hours. She didn't start until 11pm.  I've tried getting her into the doctor but obviously today has been the day of the stomach bug.

Tonight hopefully we will be able to get some sleep because this momma is tired.

The Yummy In My Tummy Desert That my previous post was talking about!

The Name: To Be Honest Not Sure

So My family and I have named it The Yummy In My Tummy. (We watch a lot of Yo Gabba Gabba) 

What You Will Need:

2 Packs of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (Collect Boxtops-Make Sure You Grab The Box Top off of it)

Package of Cream Cheese

1  Can Pie Filling (Apple, Cherry, Strawberry)

Vanilla Extract

Cinnamon 

1/2 cup Sugar

A Pan

Oven

Butter

First the recipe I came across called for about half of what I'm going to share but we discovered it taste a lot better.

First you will take your pan. I use a round pan a smaller one. Not sure the exact measurements but I do know you bake cakes in them! :) 

You will open one package of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls [Don't forget that box top]

Unroll the crescent rolls and kind of lay them in the pan. Sometimes you may have to rip off a few pieces to fill in cracks. 

After you have that sitting in the pan. 

You then will take a mixing bowl take a half a cup of sugar, the package of cream cheese, and not quite a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix these together really good.  

After mixing those three ingredients you need to take a spoon and scoop out some of the cream cheese mixture and drop a dot on the spread out crescent rolls.  Keep repeating that until all of the cream cheese mixture is gone.  After it's all in the pan smear it all over the crescent rolls.  

Once you have them steps completed take a can of pie filling of your choice (cherry taste delightful).  Smear the whole can of pie filling on top of the cream cheese mixture.  

Take the other package of crescent rolls and spread it on top of the pie fillings.  Once you have done this you will then need to melt some butter in the microwave. Once you have melted the butter you need to glaze the top of the crescent rolls. 

After the glaze of butter is on the top of the YUMMY in my TUMMY pie, take a cinnamon and sugar mixture and sprinkle all over the top. 

Finally, you need to place in a preheated oven of 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.

The Life of The Occasionally Chaotic..

It really doesn't sound as bad as it does.  I chose Occasionally Chaotic because it's the truth. I am a single mother of 2 children. I live life adventurously non the least.  If I'm not up cleaning and doing laundry on a daily basis I must be sicker than a dog.   I am always up for new things and new things to try.  I love recipes, reality tv, and being home with my family.  I do try to organize as much as possible but sometimes that seems very unreal in a the chaotic on the go lives we live.  Between cleaning and taking care of my four year old while my seven year old is in school.  We are always busy after school, Monday and Tuesday we go to dance and cheer, Wednesday and Thursday, I try catching everything up, and on Friday my daughter has appointments.

Considering that summer is fixing to start, I decided to start this blog and share the life of a Chaotic Clan of mine.   I love doing different things with my kids each summer whether it's going to the zoo, science museum  or just playing with a homemade slip in slid in our back yard.  I love making new desert recipes. Matter of fact I tried one a few months back that boyfriend absolutely loves.  I will make a separate post on that here in a bit.  It's very delicious especially if you like cherries and cream cheese! :)
