I still haven't figured out what is going on with my internal body, however, it could be a multiple things. However, my period is usually right with in the longest cycle of the month. Which if you are a woman you know that it can range anywhere between 28-32 days. Well, it came last month on the 10th, and now this month the 10th has come and gone. But the weird part I am 4 days late from my period not starting, but only 2 days past cycle day, which I am on my 34th day. But the go getter is I have take pregnancy test and they are negative. Such as I have taken a clear blue early detection test. That one said NOT pregnant! I am like geez, Just show pregnant! Yes, that's right pregnant! Ken and I are trying to have a baby. So things like this give us false hope. It saddens us because we get so excited that I haven't started and then my period either comes or everything still says negative!
However, that's seriously what's going on with my body.
I just wish my body would decided if at 30 it is capable of having a baby or at least conceiving! I miss being pregnant! I miss having a baby around. That doesn't mean I love my children any less!

Fact #5
Tonight I will end the pregnancy facts because I am running out of things I remember. Sad right? I had pregnancy brain bad with Brayden.
But....
The one thing I'll never forget, during pregnancy lost 72 lbs and lost 28 lbs after and during my 6 weeks of recovery.
That's right you read that correctly. Instead of gaining Weight I lost it. A lot of weight lost for a pregnant woman but over all I was happy. A lot of it was stress but the main reason is my thyroid became more active when pregnant and it caused me to lose weight.
Do you have any weird pregnancy facts you have gone threw?

Fact # 4
Pregnancy:
During my pregnancy I changed his name six hundred thousand times. Maybe over exaggerating but it seemed like it. I loved the name Brayden. His whatever you call him wanted him named after him. That was a no go. I wanted to name him Brayden William (William being after my dad). However, my dad has a grandson that is named after him and his other grandpa. My dad only had one brother who passed when Ry was barely two years old. My dad asked if I'd give him the name Charles and I did Charles Brayden Ellis (he has two middle names).
Age 3-4:
this is a tough age to remember even though wasn't long ago. We moved in with Ken the July after he turned 3. We had no cable but had Internet. This is when Brayden really got into Power Rangers, which is again what his third birthday party was. Netflix is all we had at the time being. Therefor somehow my son got really into YO GABBA GABBA. That is what his fourth birthday was. This was the year Brayden started showing a lot more of his personality. He's extremely rambunctious and laid back at the same time. He starts showing signs of a certain type of Autism but has never been diagnosed. He showed signs of OCD with his "men-men"*. This is where he really got intrigued with having lots of men-men.
Pretty much over the years Brayden hasn't changed all touch besides growing like a weed. stay tuned for more updates. It's beginning to get hard on pregnancy updates because I had such an easy pregnancy. Come back because I do have a surprise about the pregnancy with Brayden that seems to blow a lot of folks mind.
*men-men: this is a definition that has been made up by none other than my son himself. It simple means action figures. Any kind? It can also mean spider man. Iron man, batman. Or a simple cheap dollar tree toy.

Fact # 3
Pregnancy:
• I craved salads with Hidden Valley Ranch dressing in the beginning. Toward the end of pregnancy craved McDonalds chicken nuggets. The day that I had him all I wanted was a plain double cheeseburger from McDonalds.
Age 2-3:
During this time he got really into toys story. Needless to say for Christmas he got Woody, Jessie, and Buzz. When he was 2 years and 7 months is when Ken came into the picture. The day he met the kids was a day that Ken and brayden grew a special bond. Because he was a positive male role model. His third birthday was a when he started getting into power rangers. :)

My Countdown Begin Facts
Remember my previous blog that for ten days I will let ya know interesting facts about my pregnancy with the soon to be six year old momma's boy.
Pregnancy Facts:
1. My pregnancy with Brayden was nonetheless a breeze. I never had morning sickness but maybe a few times and that was more so toward the end of my pregnancy. Nothing like My pregnancy with Ryleigh, even tho for the most part with her I had an easy pregnancy until my last three weeks.
Brayden ( 1 week- 1 year):
A little background with Ryleigh's first year to help explain and compare Brayden's. I had post Partum after Ryleigh that eventually turned into post partum Blues. I was miserable. But I also had a lot of help and support from my parents. Being sick and a new mom, during the day my mother worked and I took care of Ryleigh and then my mom got up with Ryleigh at night. All I wanted to do was sleep.
Now on to Brayden, when I had Brayden. Bless my Mommas heart she said to me, "Diedra, I am to old for this and you are on your own with this one!!"
Granted for the most part at night I was by myself but I did still have help. Remember with boys they have penis' and when changing you must push them down. I learned that just slapping a diaper on a boy that his private goes every which way leaving more room for him to pee out the side of the diaper. Brayden, though he paid me back for not getting up with Ryleigh in the middle of the night. This child was up every hour on the hour wanting to eat. It got so bad that when my mom got home from work in the afternoon, she tell me to lay down for an hour or so depending on when she got home. Then around six or so I would get up and feed both kids. Get both kids bathed and ready for bed. The blessing there though was after Ryleigh got bathed. She would come lay down with me so I could get her to sleep. But my mom would get Brayden asleep and watch him until she went to bed. Usually I got to sleep from 8 pm to 10 or 11 pm. Some nights longer because she would lay Brayden in his bassinet and he'd sleep until he got up. Finally after he was 4 weeks old the doctor suggested rice cereal because he was giving everyone a run for their money. ( He still does keep coming back to find out more!) pretty much after we got him good on feelings and sleeping, here came teeth. Good God Almighty he was a horrible teether. He teethed from 4 months until he cut his first tooth at 7 months. Finally after that first tooth and some insight from the doctor the rest of his teeth were a breeze. They came in left and right.
Note for new mothers: Never forget to move their private downward. That is something I always remind new mothers of boys. But with any sex child, meaning boy or girl, they all teeth. Brayden had a difficult time because I was always taught to use Orgel [spelling wrong I know] but finally after almost 3 months of hardcore teething. I mean long day and nights of pure baby hell because he was in pain. The doctor told me to stop using the topical (on the gum) orgel because it hardens the guns causing it to actually be more painful. Your like me wandering how? Because the tooth is trying to cut and although the orgel numbs the pain for a little while. It hardens the gum making it harder to come thru. Also invest in a vibrating teether. Within 2 days no orgel and the vibrating teether his tooth came thru.
Asking yourself, what did she use for numbing?
1. Teething tablets. Yes, I know they now are suppose to be linked to kids having seizures and what not. But seriously if it was that bad do you think they'd still be on the shelves. We mainly used them at night after his night time bottle to help him fall asleep.
2. On very rough nights where nothing was helping. Go way back in the day where orgel and teething tablets were unheard of. Back in the day mothers and fathers put whiskey on their finger tip and rub the gums. I promise you won't get your child drunk.
3. Of course Tylenol or Ibuprofen.
Ending the first year of life:
Overall Brayden first year wasn't to bad. He crawled at eight months, sat up at six months by himself, he wasn't a binky baby. He liked his bottle tho. Come back later to see how long it took to break him from the bottle.
Probably wandering......
Most kids walk by age one. How old was Brayden when he walked?
Come back tomorrow to find out. :)
Goodnight my loves.
